Creative Writing Contest Flyer 2023

What you have to do? 

Rules

  • The story should be between 400-500 words in length and submitted in a Word/PDF document

  • Plagiarism is not allowed. Your story should be written in your own words.  

  • By submitting your entry, you agree that it is the property of NNCS and you do not have any problem if your story is published in the newsletter of NNCS. 

  • You may sketch 1-2 supporting pictures along with your story if you wish. 

  • The deadline for submissions is May 22nd, 2023. Entries submitted after this date will not be accepted. 

  • When submitting your entry, remember to include your name, contact number, email, class, school and title for your story. 

Asian culture is rich with fascinating folk tales and legends.

Choose a folk tale that you enjoy and retell it in your own words by adding your own twists and interpretations.​

Note :-

  • Best writing will be awarded with Cash Prize & Certificate

  • Runners-up will be awarded with trophies. 

  • All participants will receive a digital certificate.
    The award ceremony will be held on May 27th at Halifax Central Library.
